Bottle Auction: Antique Double Cornucopia Whiskey Flask Pontil Half Pint Old Bottle 19th Century

Antique Double Cornucopia Whiskey Flask Pontil Half Pint Old Bottle 19th Century Bottle Auction Description: Up for bid is a Old Double Cornucopia Early American Whiskey Flask in a half pint size. There is a Cornucopia on each side of the flask. On one side the basket tail swings right and on the other side it swings left. The color appears to me to be a little more blue than aqua. The Whiskey Flask is hand blown and the Pontil mark is at least 1/4" deep with a sharp edge around the mark. I put water in the bottle and did not find that the bottle leaks. The bottle will not sit upright as there is not enough surface area around the Pontil. I feel a little jagged edging on the lip where the neck was applied but, I cannot tell if it is chipping or if that is the way it is made. Please, note the photos for condition. I welcome all questions. If it is important I have a smoke and pet free environment. Paypal only please. I ship to the USA only. I will always combine shipping. Shipping and handling USPS Priority Mail $7.50.

Bottle Auction: BIG OLD Open Pontil Case Gin, circa 1770-1800

BIG OLD Open Pontil Case Gin, circa 1770-1800   Bottle Auction Description: Beautiful decorative and display piece, large enough to be a home decorative accent item! Beautiful killer chunk open pontil. Notice the crude curved bottom as well; it sits on its corners! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!from Lakeside General Merchandise Click Here to view more of our No Reserve Auctions! And Look for more to come following the Thanksgiving Holiday!OLD Open Pontil Case Gin, circa 1770-1800Up for sale is this beautiful open pontil Case Gin, circa 1770 to 1800 in a gorgeous medium olive green. We had to end the auction and relist this one, because although we purchased this from a major auction house as mint but for some minor interior haze/stain that would likely clean up well, it actually does appear to have a couple of hard to see small 1/4 to 1/2 inch long cracks that we initially thought were folds or imperfections in the glass; those are visible in picture number 7. Well, despite those flaws, the cracks, it does have good color that passes light easily, incredible crude, bubbly and whittled glass, and displays very well for less than the cost of a near perfect mint condition one. Please read through the following list of details and enlarge ebay photos for details, and feel free to email us if you have questions or need more photos, too. We're offering this pretty thing with a $1.00 starting bid and no reserve! DetailsColor: A very pretty olive green that easily passes light.Appearance: Shiny whittly glass, full luster, crude, bubbly, gorgeous. Condition: Appears near perfect mint but on close inspection there are a couple of small bending cracks 1/4 to 1/2 inch long visible in picture number 7, lower right quadrant. There is also some relatively minor interior haze/stain that would probably clean up if so desired. We also make note of a number of stable potstones as often found in very early glass. (Please see photos, captions, and enlarge for details.)Measurements: About 9 1/2 inches tall, 3 inches wide on each side at the base. Embossing: No embossing. Lip/Neck Treatment: Nice crude inverted taper applied lip. Base/Body: Great killer chunky open pontil. Provenance/Age: Probably Dutch, sometime between 1770 and 1800, almost certainly an 18th century piece! Rarity: Hmm- probably less often seen than common but not quite comparatively scarce, we guess. Hope that's helpful! Hard to find in perfect condition; this one is not perfect, though! Guaranteed as Described, with 14 Day Return Privilege. Thanks for your interest in our Auctions!SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!We folks here at Lakeside General Merchandise understand the difficulty of purchasing items sight unseen over the internet, and we want your purchasing experience with us to be simple and fun! With those things in mind, we strive to provide detailed and accurate descriptions and good quality photographs of the items we offer for sale. We promise to stand behind the merchandise we offer, so that you can buy with confidence. Upon safe return of the item to us, you will be issued a prompt refund. SHIPPING AND PAYMENT:You can pay via Paypal or if you are local, you may arrange for pickup. Bottle Auction: Beautiful GREELEY'S BOURBON BITTERS Barrel Bottle

Beautiful GREELEY'S BOURBON BITTERS Barrel Bottle Bottle Auction Description: *** Hello! Here is a beautiful Greeley's Bourbon Bitters barrel for your consideration. A wonderful color that i'll let you decide from the photos what it is. Some of these Greeley's seem to change color in different lighting, as you barrel collectors know! The first photo is probably the most accurate when on a shelf. It's in excellent condition and has been blacklighted for no chips, cracks, or repairs. The only thing is on the top, there is a spot that I just can't tell if it was in-making or a shallow flat flake. I've showed it to other collectors and they told me they just don't know for sure either. It's a tough one to call. I tried to take some closeup pictures to see. For that reason, I just can't say for sure. It appears to me to be in the making as there is a dip, or possibly a pinhead open bubble on the side edge of it. I'm overdescribing i'm sure, but I try to state it as accurate as I possibly can. It's a beauty and should you decide it's a bottle for you, you won't be disappointed! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for viewing and all the best! ***

Bottle Auction: Great Early pontiled GIV-17 Kneen Masonic Pint Flask

Great Early pontiled GIV-17 Kneen Masonic Pint Flask Bottle Auction Description: This is a great little bottle with Masonic Symbols on one side and American Eagle on the other marked KNEEN in the oval. Mold is a GIV-17 . I bought this bottle some time for my own collection. As times have gotten tough and bottle prices keep going up it is time to let some bottles go off the shelf to make room for new additions. My focus at this time is mainly GXII flasks. Color is a very nice Olive Amber leaning more towards amber ,color is beautiful., Mold impression is very good and one of the best I have seen, minor wear high point wear ,Bottle has never been cleaned. No chips cracks or damage.Bottle is a little wobbly when standing and I had a small piece of clay to make it not so tipsy. Please see my other auctions for some nice flasks.Buyer pays 12.00 shipping includes insurance. Thanks for looking. If you have any odd GXII Union bottles for sale drop me a line.

Bottle Auction: Dr. F. Felix Gouraud's Poudres Subtile For Uprooting Hair New York - Flint, Mint

Dr. F. Felix Gouraud's Poudres Subtile For Uprooting Hair New York - Flint, Mint Bottle Auction Description: i000000Dr. F. Felix Gouraud's Poudres Subtile For Uprooting Hair New York - Flint, MintDescription:I've got a few very nice flasks & other bottles to offer this week. Be sure to review all my listings because I'm happy to combine items where I can to keep postage costs down. Local pickup is also available on any item. Ever see this hair bottle? From what I've gathered, this one is quite rare. Blown in flint glass with a wide flared lip & early smooth base, c.1860, this one is embossed as Dr. Felix Gouraud's / Poudres Subtile / For Uprooting Hair / New York. Lightly cleaned, and free of any problems at all, it stands 3 5/8" tall being rectangular in shape. I've showed this to two very well known & prominent hair collectors, one states he's never seen it (but only collects colored hairs so he didn't want it), the other has seen it but has one in his vast pontiled hair bottle collection, but tells me it is quite rare as well. I'm no hair bottle guy so don't have a need to keep it. Offered here w/no reserve. Bid now with confidence as your satisfaction is always assured when buying from me. Shipping price is to the lower 48, if you live further out, or overseas, please contact me for a quote and be sure to check my other listings for some great glass!
