Bottle Auction: J.H. CUTTER OLD BOURBON / O.K. CUTTER - Western Whiskey...! Cal.

J.H. CUTTER OLD BOURBON / O.K. CUTTER - Western Whiskey...! Cal. Bottle Auction Description: CUTTER OK WHISKEY / J.H. CUTTER OLD BOURBON / C.P. MOORMAN / MANUFACTURER / LOUISVILLE KY with CROWN AND BARRELHere is an absolutely mint & top shelf specimen of this tooled top western whiskey. These are actually quite hard to find in the tooled top variant and are considered more scarce than the glop top or applied top examples. And this one does not disappoint. The embossing on it could be stronger. It is a very nice deep orange - reddish amber tone that gets darker towards the base and a lighter amber in the shoulders and neck. And the neck has great stretch marks in it. The whole bottle has wavy crude texture. Light whittle as well, which you don't really see much in tooled whiskies. This one is in MINT condition. Not a single scratch or scuff mark on it. No chips, flakes, dings, cracks bruises, open bubbles, etc. Couldn't ask for a better example. The winning bidder will be more than pleased with this great western whiskey...!!

Bottle Auction: Nice WM. T. DUNN AMBER SCHLITZ BLOB TOP PENNSYLVANIA BEER BOTTLE ROCHESTER, PA.

Nice WM. T. DUNN AMBER SCHLITZ BLOB TOP PENNSYLVANIA BEER BOTTLE ROCHESTER, PA. Bottle Auction Description: ~* PLEASE SEE SHIPPING TERMS BELOW *~~* OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE RATHER PREFERRED HERE *~*** ***** ******************** ***** ****Up for sale here is quite the handsome looking pint sized medium amber colored blob top "Schlitz" beer bottle, which is very scarce. This Rochester, Pa. example is in very good condition despite being dug up. It has some slight surface ground wear, minor inner and outer patchy surface haze and barely any case wear, even on the bold embossing. There are just two very small shallow impact moon bruises, which favor the base on the extreme lower heel on the front left side. These are barely noticeable, and do not take away from this handsome looking pre pro example. A light tumbling would really help this beer out. It's hand blown with the hand finished tooled blob top finish. Bottle looks to date from the late 1890's era to about 1900 or so. It's strongly embossed within a circular slug plate, as it boldly reads ~ "WM. T. DUNN / SCHLITZ (at angle in script) / ROCHESTER, PA." On the shoulder above the embossing it reads ~ "Registered". Then below the slug plate embossing near the base it reads ~ "To Be Washed / And Returned". On the base it carries the embossed number ~ "4", with no glass house markings any where on this bottle. This tall pint sized blob beer bottle measures 9 1/2 inches tall, and 2 5/8 across the base. You will be quite pleased with this very scarce example from this region of Pennsylvania. Neat with the old Schlitz name on the bottle.~ PLEASE DO SEE THE OTHER ITEMS I HAVE LISTED HERE ~*** **************************************************************** *** *Combined shipping will be offered if necessary. *Please check out the other bottles and items that I have listed here and the best of luck. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- *Paypal and other forms of valid payment accepted, ($9.00) Flat rate shipping anywhere in the U.S.A., Except for Hawaii and Alaska, (Shipping costs will be reduced for multiple items), I AM NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS ONCE SHIPPED, UNLESS INSURANCE IS PURCHASED. *(Please wait for me to send you the invoice with the correct amount) ~ More if Overseas to Europe and Australia ect. Bottle Auction: Old Dr. J Townsend's Sarsaparilla New York dark aqua / blue green glass bottle

Old Dr. J Townsend's Sarsaparilla New York dark aqua / blue green glass bottle Bottle Auction Description: Offered is a crude example of a Townsend's Sarsaparilla bottle that appears to date to the 1860's, give or take a few years. This variant is embossed as follows:OLD Dr J. TOWNSENDs / SARSAPARILLA / NEW YORK The embossing, especially on the Dr Townsend panel, is crisp and well defined (unlike some of the early olive amber bottles that are almost illegible). Please see the pictures for the embossing and color - which is a shade of dark aqua / greenish blue. The bottle has a large, crude applied lip, the base does not have a pontil scar and instead has a post bottom mold kick up and seam line. The bottle has a very noticeable lean to the right when displayed from the Dr. Townsend side. It does not wobble, and instead looks like the bottle slumped to one side during the annealing process. This bottle was either dug from corrosive soil or was in a watery grave for some time - the surface has unusual swirling etch lines that wrap around the surface which gives it a very ancient look. The glass is dull, but there is no blotchy or uneven staining. More of a uniform lightly frosted look.No cracks or chips. In going over the bottle with a loop, I noticed a tiny, maybe 1/16 inch peck mark or star next to the letter N, at the end of Townsend and another TINY, maybe 1/16 inch long random straw mark on the edge, near the letter J - I had to search for it, but it is mentioned for accuracy. If you have any questions, please feel free to send an email question to me. Shipping is actual cost, which should be around $10 or so in the US depending on your location. I will add for insurance. I accept PayPal. Payment is due within seven days after the close of the auction. Satisfaction guaranteed, I strive to be accurate in my listings, but if a purchaser believes I have missed something and not happy with a purchase, you may return the item, but please contact me first. The Bottle has some mild, exterior, scratches, here, and there, but nothing excessive or diminishing. Very Nice! Good Luck! MASURY'S SARSAPARILLA [From Matts Collectibles Antique Medicines]Around 1850 there was a lot of competition between sarsaparilla compound medicine makers. Two of the biggest selling products were A B & D Sand's Sarsaparilla and Masury's Sarsaparilla. These companies were always looking for gimmicks to help peddle thier nostrums. One successful approach was to offer a larger bottle for the same money. The customer would feel like they were getting a real deal while there would be little increased cost in manufacturing. Both medicines sold in massive quart bottles and their advertising emphasized the volume deal. The proprietors of Masury's Sarsaparilla, J & T Hawks of Rochester, decided to go for broke and they produced the product in an enormous two quart bottle which they claimed was the largest in the world. Apparently customers were not enthralled with this huge bottle and a relatively few seemed to have sold. It may have just been too big to haul home from the market or the manufacturing cost may have caught up with them.

Beautiful GV-9 Railroad Eagle Historical Flask Yellow Olive Superb Impression Bottle Auction Description: Here is a spectacular example of a GV-9 Railroad / Eagle historical flask in a beautiful and clear shade of yellow-olive green. It is a pint with an open pontil on the base. Bottle Auction: A Fine 18th Century Dutch Onion Black Glass Wine Bottle, circa 1730

A Fine 18th Century Dutch Onion Black Glass Wine Bottle, circa 1730 Bottle Auction Description: A wonderful condition 18th Century Dutch black glass onion form wine bottle, circa 1700 - 1730. This free blown bottle is deep, dark olive green in color. The form is an early bulbous shape. It has a high cone shape kicked up underside; a sharp, circular pontil scar; and a tapering neck with an applied overlapping string rim. Typically, these early wine bottles have minor cracks or chips. The condition of this bottle is perfect with no chips, dings, or cracks. It is in untouched original condition. This is a KEEPER! The surface is clean and bright, especially for a nearly 300 year old bottle. If you are looking for a distinguished, unpolished, and legitimate early 18th century wine bottle, they don't get much better. Height of the bottle is approximately 6 3/4 inches and the body diameter is 5 1/2 inches. For further information see Roger Dumbrell, Understanding Antique Wine Bottles, 1983, p. 136. This bottle will make a wonderful early 18th century decorative accessory, a decanter for actual use in serving wine, or a highlight addition to your dealer inventory. This is a desirable antique wine bottle that will look great on an early scrub top tavern table. Thanks for looking, tracking, bidding, and book-marking this fine 18th century tavern bottle. <i> SELLING TO THE HIGH BIDDER WITHOUT RESERVE</i>! Insurance is included with shipping. Bottle Auction: GREAT GV-8~SUCCESS TO THE RAILROAD/AMERICAN EAGLE w/STARS~open PONTIL~Hist.Flask

GREAT GV-8~SUCCESS TO THE RAILROAD/AMERICAN EAGLE w/STARS~open PONTIL~Hist.Flask Bottle Auction Description: WELCOME and thanks for stopping by. Here up for bids is a fantastic example of a classic favorite among collectors. A GV-8 SUCCESS TO THE RAILROAD/EAGLE w/STARS historical flask with a VERY strong mold impression (which is often times rather weak on these). The horse, wagon and Eagle are inhigh relief and if you weren't already aware, this is a pint size and with a lot of crudeness to it as well. But please know that there's absolutely NO DAMAGE and as long as you don't mind a bit of high point wear, then it's a sensational example otherwise. If the high point wear wasn't there, I'd have been concerned that the flask had most likely been tumbled. So that high point tells me that the flask is all original and has never been messed with and that it was certainly never in the ground. Just a beautiful piece with swirling stretch lines in the neck, BUBBLES, both small and a bit larger and a couple of globs of glass or whatever they are, that are stuck to the inside with no legs/radiations stemming from them. Plus, this is a Coventry, CT piece (according to McKearin's AMERICAN GLASS) and it's in a very nice yellowish olive amber color. In my opinion, it's a GREAT GV-8!! ( ; Offered with NO RESERVE!! BEST of LUCK to you!!Payment through paypal or perhaps by an alternate method is expected within a week's time. If you'reopting to pay by a different method other than paypal, be sure to contact me at least two full days before the end of the listing. A quick payment is always welcome and would also be greatly appreciated.Once payment clears, I'll do my best to get your package in the mail and on its way to you ASAP. If youhave any questions or concerns regarding this item, they must be asked and/or addressed prior to placinga bid. Got a minute or two to spare? Then please have a look at my other items and remember to keep watching for more SWEET antique glass to come in the near future. THANKS and have a great day! ( :On Oct-28-16 at 20:10:26 PDT, seller added the following information:ADDITION..... I had forgotten to mention that even though it's a bit difficult to make out in the last photo, because the base is just so crude, that this flask was blown in a key mold and you might just be able to make it out on the left side of the pontil. Thanks.
