Please note: We put up a very ecclectic collection of items and are not experts in every area, so descriptions are our best guess as to what something is. While we try to research each item to the best of our ability, it is the buyer's responsibility to know what they are buying. TERMS OF SERVICE EBAY is ALL we do for a living, husband and wife (Norb & Marie) working together, while we home school our kids on our farmette in Rural Delmarva. We have worked very hard to build our little business and it is very important to us. We try and do business the old fashioned way and have a rather simple outlook. Treat all of your customers as if they are family. Be courteous, answer emails, be fair in all your deallings and try and make friends of each and every customer. BUT... with eBay's new star rating and the rate increases in the U.S. Postal rates we needed to define and explain our methods of business. ONE - Who We Deal With We sell and ship world wide to anywhere, so please email us for a quote to wherever you happen to be. TWO - Shipping Charges We charge shipping based on the USPS system, we will sometimes ship via courier if we can get it to you within the same time frame or faster. We add a reasonable cost for materials, normally that is $2.00 for regular sized packages. For small flat items $1.00. That covers the expense of boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, peanuts, (We only use new packing materials, life is too short to scrounge through dumpsters). For larger items that take a larger more expensive box, we charge a little more, to cover the special box, example paintings or lamps. For oversized items or items that will take special attention to package, (Build a crate, wrap a zillion things individually, etc.), we ask you to email us for a quote on shipping prior to the auction ending. If you do not, we charge the same amount as if you did. In other words WE NEVER GOUGE OUR CLIENTS SHIPPING COSTS!! THREE - International Shipping We charge shipping based on the USPS international system. The rates follow the same guidelines as number two above, though for international customers we add an additional $1.00 to cover the extra paperwork involved in international shipping. If an amount goes over $50 in value we will only ship it with Priority or Express Mail, regardless how small an item. That allows for us to have international tracking. There is no tracking available on First Class Mail. FOUR - Insurance eBay's policies no longer allows us to charge the client for insurance. But... we still apply insurance to any item that goes over $27.00 in value. We reserve the right to use the insurance carrier of our choice. Sometimes that is Postal or the Carrier's Insurance and sometimes that is a private insurance company such as DSI or U-PIC/Shipsurance. If we use a private insurance company the package will not be marked insured, but it will be. FIVE - Methods of Payment Accepted We abide by eBay's rules and try and stay abreast of their changes. We accept Paypal. Paypal also accepts the major credit cards, or we also take Credit Cards Directly over the phone, (MC, VISA, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, CARTE BLANCHE, DINERS CLUB, JCB) Bottom line, whatever method is most convenient for you. SIX - Time Frame To Pay We ask all auctions to be paid for in the fastest possible time frame. (This is all we do for a living and we need the money to pay the bills and buy more unique and fun items to put up on eBay) SEVEN - Shipping Time Frame We make every effort to ship in a timely manner. We are home schooling the boys, listing tons of items, and as like any of us are just plain swamped, so we have to schedule a special time to pack and ship. We ship on a first paid, first shipped basis. (We do not ship any item until it has been paid and the funds have cleared.) With the ebb and flow of payments we manage to get everything out of the door within one week. If there is a rush, we will make every effort to work with you in getting it out of the door faster. As you can see from our feedback, we do not disappoint. OF COURSE, items that need special attention, crating, etc adds to the time frame of those items. Finally, EIGHT - Communication Please feel free to contact us at anytime, with any question or comment. Unless we are out of town we make an effort to answer all emails as quickly as possible.

Bottle Auction: Old Vintage Handblown Green Hanging Glass Fly Trap Rare Form Nice Bottle AAFA

Old Vintage Handblown Green Hanging Glass Fly Trap Rare Form Nice Bottle AAFA Bottle Auction Description: 12" Hanging 8 1/2" High 6" WideEarly 19th 20th Century Hand Blown Fly Catcher Fly traps were an important accessory in early homes due to the common problem of bugs and flies. Glass fly traps were simple, yet an amazingly effective treatment. Sugar water would have been placed in the bottom reservoir of the trap to attract flies. Once inside the bottle, the insects would continually try and fly through the sides of the glass and eventually land into the sticky sugar water trapping and/or drowning themselves. This hand blown glass flytrap features great rare hanging wire to be hung from the walls or beams of an early home. The glass worker who make the piece used a blowing technique for a masterfully slightly rustic decorative example. Wonderful condition! There are some normal flaws and bubbles in the glass as is common with glass work from the time period. Considering most and many of the traps of this style were broken over time this piece is a rare form indeed. No cracks or chips as shown in the images..... This great example of green glass is offered for a week with no reserve and a low starting bid. Please visit our other auctions this week for fine examples of antiques and country primitives. Thanks for visiting The Country Tin! Thanks for visiting The Country Tin!Please see all the images for condition and specifics... ProvenanceTraveling throughout the country-side of rural New York and surrounding states, we spend a great deal of time buying items from dealers, old collections, attending auctions, antique shows/shops, flea markets, estate sales, barn sales and every other opportunity we can have to bring quality primitives to the marketplace. We include the descriptions of our merchandise described to the best of our abilities taking into account years in the trade, as well as having a reference library of hundreds of titles across various topics we reference in all of our listings. We take extra efforts to provide each individual listing with an array of photographic images across various angles of each item. Return Policy We do our best to describe and photograph each item accurately, but errors and differences in opinions can happen we will never give anyone trouble returning something. Please DO Not attempt to make repairs paint or remove any patina then hope to return your item. Bottle Auction: NICE- BEAUTIFUL COLOR - AMBER GLOBE PINT FRUIT JAR

NICE- BEAUTIFUL COLOR - AMBER GLOBE PINT FRUIT JAR Bottle Auction Description: Up for auction is a BEAUTIFUL COLOR- AMBER GLOBE PINT FRUIT JAR. The lip on this beautiful, old 1800's jar is in good condition for its age, has some of the normal age, use, and from the old grinding process flaking. The front of the jar is nicely embossed with GLOBE. The base of the jar is embossed with the # 3. The metal band, and locking lever, are in good, solid condition, they have the normal age related rust, the locking lever still has a lot of the original paint on it, as seen in picture. The lid is in good condition, and is embossed boldly on the top with PATENTED MAY 25 1886, I see no chips on the lid, a trivial amount of the normal striking roughness on the inside edge underneath. The jar has no cracks, has some of the normal age,use related scratches. It is 6 inches tall top to bottom without the lid. To me a very good example of this type of Globe Pint fruit jar, it has the beautiful color, and looks, to make it definitely a top shelf jar, and one to be proud of. Insurance included in the shipping cost. But as always look at the pictures and decide for yourself. A picture is worth a thousand words. DON'T FORGET TO LOOK AT MY OTHER ITEMS FOR SELL I except Paypal only.Payment is to be made within 3 days. Delivery confirmation included in shipping price. I ONLY SHIP TO THE UNITED STATES- AK. Bottle Auction: Early 18th Century Dutch English Onion Bottle No Damage

Early 18th Century Dutch English Onion Bottle No Damage Bottle Auction Description: For sale is one of several early onion bottles I'm going to be listing on eBay in coming days. It's hard to definitively date these things, but this one is most likely early 18th century. Although not a professional historian or curator himself, my Dad, who passed in 2002 on his 91st birthday, had a number of marine (and terrestrial) archeology friends and contacts; he collected these bottles over the years as they were offered to him from those who found them at various sites. Each of his bottles is labeled with a serial number on the bottom indicating where he obtained it. Unfortunately, I can't find his master list, so for now, all I have is each bottle and the number on the bottom, of so-far-unknown significance. This bottle is approx 7" tall and 5.5" width. It's in good shape, with the scuffs you'd expect given its age. It's squat, slightly off center, and made of the usual dark green glass. There is no decorking or string rim/ lip damage noted. It has bubbles and nice swirl lines. It has what appears to be a round-ish English style rough pontil mark with some sharp edges. Shipping at cost, usually by priority mail (despite all the grief they receive, the USPS has an excellent track record with my shipments, plus I do good packing). NC residents add sales tax. If you desire insurance, or for small highly valuable items that must have insurance, or for international buyers, or for forms of payment other than PayPal, or for manners of shipping other than USPS, or for local pick-up, please contact me BEFORE paying. Returns at my expense for materially inaccurate descriptions if item rec'd in the same condition as sent. Notify me of this desire within 48 hours of receipt of item. NOTE: these onion bottles are all roughly the same size and shape, though as very old handmade items, they show variations. The bottle pictured might not be the same one you receive, but the description and condition above are accurate for all. Be sure to see my other auctions posted for an antebellum diploma from the University of Virginia, a belle epoch mahogany display case in unusual pyramidal shape, and an old cigar store Indian. And are you looking for a William IV police truncheon or a first generation Colt SAA? If so, contact me about those too!

THE JEWELS ON THE CROWN REALLY STAND OUT .On Mar-30-13 at 08:35:10 PDT, seller added the following information:after an email asking about the words " trade marks " being slugged in I took a closer at the bottle and now see I may have got that wrong . there is some evidence at the end of the word "trade" that shows some mold change it may just be in the way it was blown. Bottle Auction: Ultra Rare Open Pontiled Fenimores Liniment Bottle

Ultra Rare Open Pontiled Fenimores Liniment Bottle Bottle Auction Description: Here is a great ultra rare open pontiled medicine bottle made probably before 1860. It is one I personally dug from a 1860s hotel privy about 8 years ago. It measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 2 1/4 inches wide. It has a great laid on rolled top and a great open pontiled bottom. The 4 pannels read Fenimores, Liniment, Or Pain Extractor, Price 25 CTS. At one time not long ago there was another one that sold but I do not know what it went for. It was discribed as 1 of only 2 known. A rare oppritunity to get a great early medicine. This will be a no reserve auction and you can email me if there are any questions. I will cover the cost of shipping and Insurance for this bottle. Good Luck and Thanks
