CRUDE WESTERN DR. HENLEY'S GRAPE ROOT BITTERS HAMMER WHITTLE APPLIED TOP Bottle Auction Description: Here is great example of a popular western bitters. Embossed DR. HENLEY'S WILD GRAPE ROOT BITTERS IXL with applied top. Made with a two piece mold it is a light aqua. This one is very crude loaded with hammer whittle, stretch marks, ripples, tiny pot stones, seed bubbles and larger elongated bubbles in the back side. There are also black slag impurities in the glass in the neck area. The glass is sparkling and shiny condition with some slight wear and scratches on the outside. A super looking Henley's overall with two small flaws to mention below...........The first is a tiny pot stone or bruise about 1/16" in diameter at the leg tip of the L in Henley's (see photo). There are two tiny radiations about 1/32" long from this. The second one is an old epoxy repair on a flat outside lip flake that measures about 1/4" x 1/4" (see photo). Both of these flaws are minor, not easy to see and do not detract from this fine looking bitters. Bottle Auction: Attic Find COMMON SENSE JAR-GREGORY'S PATENT AUG. 17th 1869. All Intact.

Attic Find COMMON SENSE JAR-GREGORY'S PATENT AUG. 17th 1869. All Intact. Bottle Auction Description: An upstate N.Y. Farm House "Attic" find has a shoulder "spider crack" (two close-up photos here) extremely thin "cross" of 4 lines. You have to hold it in just the right light to catch a glimpse of it. The jar otherwise looks like it was most likely never used......brilliant mint. Huge bubble in the base and a beautifully crude lip with perfect grind on top of the lip. 1 very tiny surface chip on the top edge of the stopper that is embossed: "GREGORY'S PAT. AUG. 17th, 1869". There is a light grind on the top & inner edge of the stopper also. Why or how that was done is a mystery to me. I don't believe the clamp had been unscrewed for many, many years and I was relieved when it was a perfect lip. Good strong strike on the lettering....much stronger than my photos show actually. "COMMON SENSE / JAR" and on the reverse side: "GREGORY'S / PATENT / AUG. 17 th 1869". Wonderful example despite the unfortunate "spider". Winner pays $12.85 for the medium Flat Rate Priority Box and I cover for loss or damage on an immediate basis. A low opening bid under a dollar. Thanks for looking. On Apr-20-15 at 09:06:32 PDT, seller added the following information:That should be "extremely thin cross of 2 lines" not 4 lines. There is an extremely tiny dot in the center of the cross.

Bottle Auction: Antique Freeblown Early American New England Chestnut Bottle Flask Green Pontil

Antique Freeblown Early American New England Chestnut Bottle Flask Green Pontil Bottle Auction Description: An Exceptional Little Example With Loads of CharacterIf you're a collector of antique bottles, then you know you've come across something special in this early American chestnut bottle! Found in the rafters of an early 19th-century home in Easton, Massachusetts, this green flask has everything that you're looking for in a late-18th century/early nineteenth-century bottle: the applied blob top, pontil, lightly-colored green glass with a lot of "seeding" (the numerous small air bubble in the glass), and a touch of whimsy in the twisted neck. It measures 6.5" in height, 4.25" in width, 3" in depth, and weighs 7.5 ounces. The bottle is in very good antique condition, with only the typical surface dirt, and light wear and surface abrasions from original use and subsequent storage for the past two centuries. We have not cleaned the lip of the bottle nor its interior in case you prefer this as-found patina. We are starting this auction at $9.99 with NO RESERVE. Good luck bidding! ______________________We List Many Great Hand Picked New England Antique and Collectible Finds on eBay EVERY WEEK - AUCTION STYLE - ALWAYS STARTING AT $9.99 With NO RESERVE. Click on "Follow This Seller" in the top right Seller Information box to be kept updated. __________________Your Satisfaction is Our Highest Priority:We work hard to earn your Positive Feedback and 5-Star Rating on every transaction. If there is ever anything that would cause you to give us any lower rating, please contact us first and we'll gladly make things right! Please Take a Moment to Read About Our Shipping Policies: U.S. Buyers: Please understand that our handling cost includes insurance. Thus shipping on higher value items may seem high. Rest assured that we NEVER mark up shipping costs of any kind - we just pass along whatever we have to pay on your behalf. All basic shipping materials are provided at our expense as a courtesy. On rare occasion, if your item is particularly fragile or valuable we may need to pass along the actual cost of special packing materials we purchase just for your item. We typically offer you at least 2 shipping options: Priority Mail for fastest, safest shipment and Parcel Post for slower cheaper service. Make sure to choose the option that suits you best. In some cases there is little to no difference in cost between the two services in which case it only makes sense to use Priority Mail. Certain large or unusually shaped items require special packaging by a professional. In this case we must pass along the packing fees to you, but we still never mark up these services. In the unlikely event that we ever accidentally overcharge you we will automatically refund your overpayment via PayPal provided the overcharge exceeds $3.00.International Buyers: are welcome. Please understand that we use eBay's Global Shipping Program for all shipments outside of the U.S. Therefore we are unable to make any changes to shipping arrangements once the auction ends. Since eBay sets the cost for shipping, you'll need to deal with them directly with any inquiries about shipping. As sellers, we don't even know what they're charging you. The shipping fee you pay us only covers the cost of shipment to eBay's shipping center in Kentucky, USA. We do not fill out customs documents, select carriers, determine shipping times, etc.Your items are important to us, so we are very careful in our packing and use the best materials and take our time to make certain that it arrives in the condition in which it left here! We normally ship smaller items to eBay's shipping center using Priority Mail. Packages larger than 12" in any dimension usually ship via Parcel Post to save you money. All of our shipping cost include full ensurance within the U.S. In many cases, only partial ensurance is available to countries outside of the U.S. We will always purchase the maximum available on your behalf. We'll purchase eBay's ShipCover for you only when necessary. It is important that you understand that ShipCover ironically doesn't cover the cost of shipping, so in the unlikely event of loss or damage, you, the buyer will forfeit that cost. Hopefully eBay will fix this problem in the future but for now, your bid constitutes your acceptance of these terms.Returns: We will accept returns within fourteen days of your receipt of the item only if the item is materially misrepresented. Bottle Auction: Historic California Gold Rush Soda- " Georgetown Cross"

Historic California Gold Rush Soda- " Georgetown Cross" Bottle Auction Description: Here is a very rare piece of Gold Rush history. Up for bid is a lot of 6 (yes six) South Carolina dispensary bottles all different, all very rare and all in very nice shape! I will do my best to describe! The first bottle and best is a half pint tree with the rounded bottom postage stamp at the bottom of the tree, no makers name (very rare). You serious collectors know what this is!!!#2 bottle is a wilted tree with the broken branch version. E.P. JR. & CO. is the maker. It is a half pint (another super rare bottle)! #3 is a very nice and clean quart monogram with nice whittle marks and great long seed bubbles. this bottle should purple-up if set in the sun. the maker is C.G.CO. (RARE, RARE, RARE)!! #4 Is a nice light lime green full face monogram half pint. P.BROS made this one! (SWEET)#5 Is a full pint small monogram, crocked neck and a natural broken bubble over the C! Very clean C.L.F.C. CO. maker. #6 is a half pint monogram that fell in the mold, its quite distorted and cool! C.L.F.C. CO. maker. well that's what I have for you. THE HIGHEST BIDDER GETS THEM ALL. I will mention that some of these bottles are a little cloudy and could use a cleaning if you so desire, personally I like my bottles to look old so I have only washed these with soap and water, but that's just me. You can clean um, or tumble if you wish but I think there beautiful just the way they are! NO serious issues with any of the bottles! So there you have it, I am selling all six with no reserve (A leap of faith); I hope the pictures are good enough, If there not I will try to post more. but if you win this you will not be disappointed Its truly a high powered collection!
