Bottle Auction: Gorgeous GII-67 New London 1/2 Pint Deep Aqua RARE LIP!

Gorgeous GII-67 New London 1/2 Pint Deep Aqua RARE LIP! Bottle Auction Description: Group II-Amercan Eagles, mold # GII-67, blown at the Historic NEW LONDON GLASSWORKS, circa 1856-1865. 6 3/16" tall with A RARE AND UNLISTED LIP TREATMENT. Sheared and fire-polished lip with an awesome applied square banded collar. Brilliant aqua blue glass with fine seed bbbles and glass character. Early smooth base, the finest boldest impression available on both sides. There is a tiny flat flake off of the edge of the lip on the anchor side and it can't been seen on display, regardless of which side. The rest of the piece is sparkling mint. The only other examples that I have seen with this lip treatment are in the noted Heckler collection in Connecticut. I switched some focus to another Connecticut glasshouse recently and I can't tell all of the flask collectors out there just how hard it is to get good New London Flasks. I hand picked them for 20 years. This one is rare and beautiful with great shelf presence and eye appeal. I am offering it with NO RESERVE. Yes, the olive green 1/2 pint is also a GII-67 (Don't expect to find one of those soon!) That will be auctioned off separatley at a later date. thanks and good luck bidding!

Bottle Auction: ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLORADO SPGS COLO HUTCH SODA BOTTLE

ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLORADO SPGS COLO HUTCH SODA BOTTLE Bottle Auction Description: Up for bid is this nice ROCKY MOUNTAIN BOTTLING WORKS blob top hutch soda bottle from COLORADO SPRINGS COLO. This bottle is 6 ¾ inches tall, has a wiped blob top and was produced from 1901 to 1905. This dug bottle is in very good condition with no cracks or chips, but it does have several light scratches and flea bit size dings overall and a slight bit of inner stain. A light tumbling would resolve some of these issues. It also has a slightly crooked stance, some roughness in the top of the lip from the making of the blob top and uneven glass on the base. I mention everything for accuracy. This clean and crudely made hutch from the Rocky Mountain Bottling Works displays well and would make an excellent addition to anyone's Colorado town, or blob top soda hutch bottle collection. E-Mail me with any questions before you bid. PLEASE DO NOT USE CHECK-OUT, I will contact the winning bidder to determine shipping cost and final total. Due to E-bay polices, I accept Paypal and can discuss other forms of payment after winning this listing. Will use USPS Priority mail for shipping, unless other shipping methods are discussed. Per new E-bay rules, Insurance is available upon request, in final invoice handling fee will include Insurance upon request. Please see SELLERS OTHER LISTINGS for other great items. Winner to contact seller within three days of auctions end and payment must be received within ten days. After ten days, item can be relisted. Will ship Item within two days of receipt of payment. Bottle Auction: Olive Green, BY A.A. COOLEY, HARTFORD, CON, Pontil MINT

Olive Green, BY A.A. COOLEY, HARTFORD, CON, Pontil MINT Bottle Auction Description: We hope you'll like this superb example of this 1840's utility bottle from CT. It is 4 5/8" tall, with a sheared lip and open pontil. The glass is a medium olive green and is lighter than the pictures show. This example is somewhat lighter than I've seen and the embossing is all sharp and clear: BY / A. A. COOLEY HARTFORD / CON. I sold one of these a few months ago that was darker and with embossing not as sharp. It's unusual to have 2 examples of something this nice in a short time. You'll be very pleased with this. As always, we guarantee everything we sell or offer a full refund with all shipping included. We don't have to refund very often!

Scare South Carolina Dispensary Bottle Bottle Auction Description: Up for bids is a very nice pint Aqua double collar strap sided flask , embossed "SOUTH CAROLINA DISPENSARY" also embossed with a "Palmetto Tree" . Bottle is in excellent condition, no cracks, chips or stains. The lip has a small indent however is smooth to the touch was caused during production of the bottle. This a very good example of a relatively scare bottle which dates about 1890, making it one of the earlier types. It is my understanding that these bottles were only made for a short period time. Bottle Auction: RARE c1900 Dr WARREN'S PATENT MEDICINE ADVERTISING SIGN

RARE c1900 Dr WARREN'S PATENT MEDICINE ADVERTISING SIGN Bottle Auction Description: Very Rare, original, ca1900, Point of Sale Advertising Sign for "Dr. Warren's Formula B" Cold Cure. This wonderful, Quack Medical Cure Advertising Sign measures approx. 21" x 31 1/2" and is matted and framed in a period, gold gilt gesso frame (overall size of framed display is 26" x 37"). It is printed in half tone and features an Image of a rather shady looking character (kind of a stereotypical, snake oil salesman type) holding up a small vial of medicine. Text at the top of the Sign reads "Dr. Warren's Formula B" / "A Famous Cold Cure" / "Price 25 cts. a Bottle". Text at the bottom of the Sign reads "You See it was this way, It Cured me in Three Hours" (boy that sounds convincing doesn't it?). We have not been able to discover much information about Dr. Warren's Formula B but given the rather shaky nature of both the image and the text on this Sign, it is fairly obvious why it did not become a wildly popular Patent Medicine. This rare and quite wonderful, Patent Medicine Advertising Sign presents in very good condition. Is quite attractive but does have a number of repaired tears in the lower left hand quadrant. There are also some unrepaired tears along the bottom edge and a bit of loss at the lower right hand corner. There is a light water stain at the upper right hand corner and a somewhat darker stain along the bottom edge. Please see the scans below for a good indication of the condition of this wonderful, Patent Medicine Sign. A very rare and attractive, ca1900, Dr. Warner's Cold Remedy / Patent Medicine Advertising Sign and a fantastic addition to any collection!! Overseasshippping is extra and cost will be quoted at bidders request. Massachusetts residents must add 5% sales tax. Insurance is required on all items selling for $400 or more and optional on items selling for under $400 (but highly recommended. If you do not want insurance please let us know. Click Here to See Our Items We Have for Sale in the eBay Gallery and Click Here to Add Us To Your Favorite Sellers List Important Notes about Shipping Charges and the eBay "Detailed Seller Rating" Star System: The amount quoted for Shipping & Handling is calculated by eBay and is equal to the EXACT amount charged by the Post Office plus a $1.00 "packing fee" - the $1.00 fee is our only compensation for the virgin packing materials we use on all of our professionally packaged boxes as well as our cost for the salaried help that does most of our packing - as I am sure you can see, we make NO profit on the Shipping charges and, in fact, our costs are usually greater than the $1.00 fee. We have NEVER requested Feedback from our customers as we were taught that "fishing for compliments" was impolite but the new eBay Detailed Rating System has put us in a rather tight spot. Most buyers are unaware that eBay bases a monthly fee discount on a Seller's "Star" rating. A monthly average of "4.6 Stars" (in any one of the four "Star" categories) costs us approximately $400 in additional eBay Fees - that's $400 above what we would pay if we had a "4.8 Star" average in all 4 "Star" categories!! As a consequence we hope you do not find us rude to ask that if you are happy with our items, our service, and our packing & shipping please be sure to use the "Star" rating system and remember that a "5 Star" rating is the only way we can qualify for eBay's fee reduction program. ,Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. Bottle Auction: PERFECT South Carolina Dispensary Quart! Crude example!

PERFECT South Carolina Dispensary Quart! Crude example! Bottle Auction Description: I haven't had the opportunity to handle many of these South Carolina Dispensary bottles, however, when this one was brought to me, I could tell it was a good one! This one may be a very rare mold, I don't know... but what really made me drool was the character and condition. It is outstanding! This is a large QUART cylinder standing 9" tall, in a bright aqua color with excellent clarity (there isn't even slightest haze on this bottle) and full of tiny bubbles. The front is embossed " SOUTH CAROLINA DISPENSARY" with a Palm Tree motif, all VERY BOLDLY embossed. Note the bent branch on the palm. The mold seams stop at the shoulder and the rounded lip is slightly flattened at the top... very similar to the USA Hospital Dept. bottles. Attic MINT condition, just a little dust settled on the inside. A great bottle!! A WONDERFUL early example of a QUART South Carolina Dispensary bottle!! Buyer pays shipping. 7 day return policy if not as described. Please check out our other listingsGOOD LUCK!

Bottle Auction: Pontiled Hyatt's Infallible Life-Balsam N.Y.

Pontiled Hyatt's Infallible Life-Balsam N.Y. Bottle Auction Description: We are offering a real beauty, a great bottle with a rich history. A genuine pontiled medicine bottle which dates to about 1858 and was most likely manufactured at New London Glass Works. The bottle is in mint condition and was excavated in New York City in 1999 by a leading privy digging club. The bottle was even mentioned in a Sunday New York Times article, Through Bottles Darkly, Glimpses of the Past, and also in an historical digging article published in Antique Bottle & Glass Collector Magazine in 2003, Johnson & Johnson, The New York Times, and a Rewarding Greenwich Village Dig. (Both stories can be read at www.TheManhattanWellDiggers.com, or by simply Googling Hyatt's Infallible Life Balsam and then scrolling down to Manhattan Well Diggers/Johnson & Johnson.) Whether in natural sunlight or an artificial substitute, this bottle takes the light nicely and has good whittling throughout. This medicine will naturally make any collector proud to have in their arsenal and will be a great companion to any existing collection. Additionally, it will readily stand out just fine on its own anywhere it is placed. As with many other pontiled medicines from the 1850s, there is no noticeable graphite or iron residue remaining on this fine example but the actual pontil scar is totally obvious from more than a foot away. Fellow diggers and serious collectors alike who have had the opportunity to examine it over the past decade often comment that the item's stunning rich medium green color and great overall feel are a winning combination. This fairly hard to come by, historically excavated, Manhattan bottle has had a remarkable history in print, and on the web in several places, and we sincerely hope that the winning bidder enjoys it as much as we have.
