Bottle Auction: Pre-Pro Kearns Sunny Side Saloon Lebanon, Kentucky, Stoneware Advertising Jug

Pre-Pro Kearns Sunny Side Saloon Lebanon, Kentucky, Stoneware Advertising Jug Bottle Auction Description: Pre-Pro Kearns Sunny Side Saloon Lebanon, Kentucky, Stoneware Advertising Jug We have seen a number of all white J.H. Kearns jugs sell over the years, but can't recall seeing one in this half-gallon size with brown top over cream glazes body. This one is near perfect, with just a kiln flaw above the stencil (from one jug resting against another during the firing process), and a small, 3/8 inch chip on the base at the back of the jug. This small nick sends out a 1/4 inch, tight hairline. Please see photo. This very small flaw is almost entirely under the jug and hard to see unless one gets down to eye level with the base at the jug's back side. Other wise, no hairlines, no chips, not even a flea bite on the lip. About 8 1/2 inches tall and very clean. If you love old saloon goods, this one is about as good as it gets!We prefer payments through Pay Pal.Minnesota residents please wait for us to send an invoice so we may include sales tax.International buyers: We will not falsify import/export documents. Please be prepared to pay all import duties assessed by your country. Thank you.See more bottles, advertising, stoneware, and Americana in our e-bay store (ketchthepast). Bottle Auction: Extremely Rare N. JENKINS Rheumatism & Gout Annihilator New Orleans Bottle

Extremely Rare N. JENKINS Rheumatism & Gout Annihilator New Orleans Bottle Bottle Auction Description: Hello! One of those greatest names on a bottle you might ever see! Here's one folks that I bet you may not have, or ever seen. A killer southern New Orleans medicine bottle that's been one of my favorites i've ever owned. The term rare and extremely rare is so overused these days, just look all over ebay. This one tho, truly fits that description. Rarer than an honest politician. This is the only example I have ever seen or even heard of myself. I took some photos of it and Matt Knapp has it now listed in his medicine book, which I highly recommend picking up if you haven't done so yet.Embossed:N. Jenkins N.ORheumatism & GoutAnnihilator Our FOHBC president Ferdinand Meyer did a great write up on the bottle too on his awesome Peachridge Glass website. Here is a link... http://www.peachridgeglass.com/2012/05/n-jenkins-n-o-rheumatism-gout-annihilator/This crude bad boy has 3 sunken panels, and a really cool and unusual uneven star embossed on the base. The N. Jenkins N.O panel is sunken in and really adds even more character to this fine example. You may not ever see another one, and i've been reluctant about moving it along, but it's time for someone else to enjoy owning it.I've changed my bottle focus and have decided to let this one go. No chips or cracks, applied top and wavy panels. Just a beauty. It stands 9 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" square. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking and all the best! Bottle Auction: Vintage Art Deco Owens-Illinois Apothocary Show Globe

Vintage Art Deco Owens-Illinois Apothocary Show Globe Bottle Auction Description: This is a very rare large, vintage Art Deco Owens-Illinois pharmacy or apothacary show globe, which was displayed in the windows of drugstores to indicate that there was a pharmacist on the premises and that medicines were dispensed, and they were usually filled with colored water. The Owens-Illinois glass company was practically the sole manufacturer of these show globes, which were popular from the late 1800s up until the 1960s. Large jars like this one are extremely hard to find, usually commanding high prices at auction. This jar is from the 1920s, is in excellent shape, and comes with a heavy, blown glass replacement stopper. The stand is classic Art Deco, in silver with black accents. This would look amazing either filled with colored water or left empty, decorating a hall table, a buffet or bureau, a mantle, or a bathroom. Breathtaking in its proportions, this is a true show stopper that is sure to garner many compliments for years to come. I have enjoyed it, but now I'm ready to let it go to a new home. It took me many years to find this one -- don't let it get away! Overall Dimensions when jar is in stand and stopper is in place are 20"H x 10"W. Breakdown is as follows: Stand 10.75"H x 9"W; Jar 13"H x 10"W; Stopper 4"H x 2.50"W.

Bottle Auction: OUTSTANDING GOLDEN AMBER SWIRLED BALL STANDARD FRUIT JAR QUART

OUTSTANDING GOLDEN AMBER SWIRLED BALL STANDARD FRUIT JAR QUART Bottle Auction Description: Here is a super example of a quart Ball Standard wax seal fruit jar. I don't know where to start on describing this but I will say the pictures might just help. It is a rich golden or honey amber with solid olive or amber swirls throughout. It has a # 11 embossed on the base. These are all outside pictures and it even darkens up to a solid honey or light amber when inside. This jar is untouched and original and with no repair. The condition is very good. It is clean with good embossing with no chips or cracks. The lips edges are very good but has just a little bit of outside rim nibble roughness and the inside lip is almost perfect with one pinpoint flat nib. I am being thoural and accurate in describing as I should be. This came from a large fine collection of early glass bottles and jars. Questions welcomed and no reserve on this fine specimen.

Antiq AMETHYST Stiegel Type Diamond Quilted Mold Blown Glass FLASK Bottle 19thC Bottle Auction Description: ANTIQUEAMETHYSTMOLD BLOWN GLASSSTIEGEL TYPE FLASKDIAMOND QUILTED19TH CENTURYI SHIP WORLDWIDE IMPORTANT BIDDING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: IF YOU PLAN TO BID ON THIS ITEM AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE NOT THE INVOICE THAT IS GENERATED IMMEDIATELY AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SALE BY EBAY. Ebay now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale (see my feedback), however, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an auction or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that there is more than one item you are interested in bidding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage.. I never charge a "handling fee". I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately - not ship - and then be scored negatively by eBay for not shipping soon enough. Please note that over the next three weeks I will be offering more than 100 pieces of antique European and American porcelain and glass with sales scheduled to begin nightly after 6:00pm eastern time. Be sure to check my other sales. Offered in this sale is a deep rich amethyst mold blown glass flask with a quilted diamond pattern that dates to the early 1800s. It measures 6 5/8" tall x 3 3/4" wide. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. There is normal high point wear on the pattern on both sides. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. This piece is being sold WITHOUT A RESERVE as long as there is an opening bid. High bidder to pay $7.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States. The last five images illustrate other items that I have listed on Ebay including an early opal pulled loop blown Sandwich glass whitch ball and stand - vase and a group of eight Kuznetsov Russian porcelain plates. You are bidding on only the one piece in this sale.INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international packages under four pounds are mailed International First Class mail unless you specifically request Priority Mail which is, of course, more costly. Items over four pounds must be shipped Priority Mail. Items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I would like to kindly ask international buyers to understand that I have no control over the delivery schedule. In most cases packages arrive within 7 - 10 days, however, packages sometimes can be delayed by foreign customs. I would appreciate you not scoring me low on Ebay for something out of my control..You can view a thumbnail gallery of my other items by clicking on the "See Other Items" icon at the top of this listing.

Bottle Auction: SUPER CRUDE OWEN CASEY WESTERN SODA COBALT BLUE HAMMER WHITTLE

SUPER CRUDE OWEN CASEY WESTERN SODA COBALT BLUE HAMMER WHITTLE Bottle Auction Description: Here is one of the crudest example of this California soda I have owned. Embossed, OWN CASEY EAGLE SODA WORKS SAC CITY,it is a nice deep cobalt blue and just loaded with seed bubbles and hammer whittle. Many of these sodas were neatly made but not this one. This bottle is in shiny original condition with just a wisp of case wear and displays like a champ. It does have two issues though. On the front of the lower right side is a large surface flask about 1/16" deep that measures roughly 1/2" x 3/8" on the bottom part and 3/8" x 1/4" on the top part (see photo). The top area of the flash was missing so I filled it in with epoxy and it turned out pretty good and now looks like a manufacturing flaw. This flash is shallow compared to the glass thickness of over 1/4" so it is totally stable. As mentioned this bottle diplays very well and this flaw is not easy to see from the front. The other issue is a shallow surface bubble on the neck measuring 1/4" x 1/2" (see photo). If you are looking for the crudest example of an Owen Casy with tons of character then look no further. Even with the flaws you will search quite a while for a crude example that displays this nice. Fourteen day return privilege guaranteed for money back. Buyer pays postage and any postage left over after mailing will be refunded.
