Bottle Auction: GI-93 Lafayette historical flask pontiled no wear beautiful color "cracked"

GI-93 Lafayette historical flask pontiled no wear beautiful color "cracked" Bottle Auction Description: Here is aMcKearin's GI-93 Lafayette historical flask. It is listed as Rare! Auction history for thismold have been between $5000.00 upwards to $10,000.00 Here is a chance to get this great flask ata fraction of that. This is one beautiful flask with great strong and boldembossing, no base wear and just a perfect lip. The bad news is somewhere in it's180 +/- life time it did get bumped and cracked! ) : There is nochips or glass loss just a point with 4 lines. Looking at the Lafayette side itstarts on the upper left side rib. The cracks go both horizontal andvertical. It is very sad indeed becausethe rest is just spectacular from the beautiful teal green color to the boldembossing to the fact that there is NO high point where at all. I have had tisflask in my collection for some time now. I collect Lafayette's and untilrecently was the only one I had the opportunity to acquire. I have recently had to opportunity to upgradeto and undamaged example so am selling this one. Honestly this beauty has displayedwell for me and I have never felt I had to make any excuses for it. It is avery hard and rare example to find and I am sure the winning bidder will findthe same. Please feel free to ask any questions all will be answered. This is a NOreserve auction with FREE shipping so the price you bid will be the price youpay (unlike buying from an auction house) Thanks for looking and best of luck to you

Bottle Auction: BIG Blue Green Cathedral Pickle, New Jersey Bulltown, Crowlytown Glassworks

BIG Blue Green Cathedral Pickle, New Jersey Bulltown, Crowlytown Glassworks Bottle Auction Description: BIG Jersey Blue Green Cathedral Pickle Up for sale is this fantastic big Jersey Blue Green Cathedral Pickle bottle. We believe this was probably made at either the Bulltown or Crowlytown Glassworks in New Jersey, sometime between 1860 and 1870. Very early smooth base, probably just missed having a pontil mark. Gorgeous medium blue green color. Pictured above with two pint Historical flasks (we have listed for sale separately) for size comparison, it measures about 11 and 3/4 inches high. This is very similar to the one shown in Plate 73, pp. 272-273 of McKearin and Wilson's American Glass. They note that J.E. Pfeiffer found aquamarine fragments of very similar design on sites of the Bulltown (ca. 1853 to 1871) and Crowleytown (ca. 1851 to 1867) New Jersey glassworks. Beautiful Gothic design, square with beveled chamfered corners, gothic arched panels, rolled over collared lip. Noted by McKearin as being rare in color.Sparkling near mint condition! There's some very minor scratches from honest use and a very shallow in the making 1/8 by 3/8 inch bubble burst near the base that we note in the interest of being obsessively accurate with our listings, hard to see. Please see photos, and let us know if you need more or need more information. Nice clean glass. Every collection should have one of these big old cathedral pickles!!!Just for fun, we decided to go nuts and offer some great bottles at just $1.00 with no reserve and free shipping in the USA! E This and the next 3 photos taken with flash to show design details and nice clean glass with no problems on all four sides. Color appears somewhat darker in these photos than it does in the window pictures. Nice sheared lip with rolled over lip. Color here in window probably more representative than above pictures with flash. Very cool long bubble in the neck here!Early smooth base with wide kick up.More nice bubbles!Closeup of noted shallow bubble burst at the base, very smooth with no cover glass, done in the making.Beautiful in the window! _gsrx_vers_473 (GS 6.4.1 (473))

YES, it was shipped in a timely manner!) Back when we last could count repeat buyers, (the changed feedback does not allow that anymore.) we had OVER 4,103 REPEAT CUSTOMERS!!!(They must know something.)(Maybe they have fun here.)SO YOU CAN BIDWITH CONFIDENCE!!Please note: We put up a very ecclectic collectionof items and are not experts in every area,so descriptions are our best guess as to what something is.While we try to research each item to the best of our ability,it is the buyer's responsibility to know what they are buying.TERMS OF SERVICEEBAY is ALL we do for a living, husband and wife (Norb & Marie) working together, while we home school our kids on our farmette in Rural Delmarva. We have worked very hard to build our little business and it is very important to us. We try and do business the old fashioned way and have a rather simple outlook.Treat all of your customers as if they are family.Be courteous, answer emails, be fair in all your deallings and try and make friends of each and every customer.BUT... with eBay's new star rating and the rate increases in the U.S. Postal rates we needed to define and explain our methods of business. ONE - Who We Deal WithWe sell and ship world wide to anywhere, so please email us for a quote to wherever you happen to be. TWO - Shipping ChargesWe charge shipping based on the USPS system, we will sometimes ship via courier if we can get it to you within the same time frame or faster. We add a reasonable cost for materials, normally that is $2.00 for regular sized packages. For small flat items $1.00. That covers the expense of boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, peanuts, (We only use new packing materials, life is too short to scrounge through dumpsters). For larger items that take a larger more expensive box, we charge a little more, to cover the special box, example paintings or lamps. For oversized items or items that will take special attention to package, (Build a crate, wrap a zillion things individually, etc.), we ask you to email us for a quote on shipping prior to the auction ending. If you do not, we charge the same amount as if you did. In other words WE NEVER GOUGE SHIPPING COSTS!! TWO POINT ONE - International ShippingWe charge shipping based on the USPS international system. The rates follow the same guidelines as number two above, though for international customers we add an additional $1.00 to cover the extra paperwork involved in international shipping. If an amount goes over $50 in value we will only ship it with Priority or Express Mail, regardless how small an item. That allows for us to have international tracking. There is no tracking available on First Class Mail. TWO POINT TWO - InsuranceeBay's policies no longer allows us to charge the client for insurance. But... we still apply insurance to any item that goes over $27.00 in value. We reserve the right to use the insurance carrier of our choice. Sometimes that is Postal or the Carrier's Insurance and sometimes that is a private insurance company such as DSI or U-PIC/Shipsurance. If we use a private insurance company the package will not be marked insured, but it will be.THREE - Methods of Payment AcceptedWe abide by eBay's rules and try and stay abreast of their changes. We accept Paypal. Paypal also accepts the major credit cards, or we also take Credit Cards Directly over the phone, (MC, VISA, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, CARTE BLANCHE, DINERS CLUB, JCB) Bottom line, whatever method is most convenient for you. FOUR - Time Frame To PayWe ask all auctions to be paid for in the fastest possible time frame. (This is all we do for a living and we need the money to pay the bills and buy more unique and fun items to put up on eBay) FIVE - Shipping Time FrameWe make every effort to ship in a timely manner. We are home schooling the boys, listing tons of items, and as like any of us are just plain swamped, so we have to schedule a special time to pack and ship. We ship on a first paid, first shipped basis. (We do not ship any item until it has been paid and the funds have cleared.) With the ebb and flow of payments we manage to get everything out of the door within one week. If there is a rush, we will make every effort to work with you in getting it out of the door faster. As you can see from our feedback, we do not disappoint. OF COURSE, items that need special attention, crating, etc adds to the time frame of those items. SIX - CommunicationPlease feel free to contact us at anytime, with any question or comment. Unless we are out of town we make an effort to answer all emails as quickly as possible. We PREFER PAYPAL!! We accept MC, Visa, and Discover via phone or dual e-mail or via PAYPAL!!TO PAY WITH AMEX (American Express) PLEASE GO TO PAYPAL, THEY WILL TAKE IT FOR US!YES, BUYER PAYS SHIPPING DESPITE WHAT EBAY'S PAGE SAYS BENEATH THIS DESCRIPTION.We estimate shipping weight & packaging materialsand e-mail winning bidder shipping costs at auction end.We package well, as our feedback attests. We use NEW boxes and shipping materials, bubbles, peanuts & envelopes. To get an estimate to your zipcode, e-mail us for a quote BEFORE the auction is over. Please Click to See Our Other Auctions. One last note: Thank you!! Because you have taken enough interest to read all the way down this far, we know you to be the type of customer we want to acknowledge. Bottle Auction: Extremely Rare 1800's Cobalt Blue Pharmacy Bottle"GEORGE DART--TUXEDO PARK,N.Y."

Extremely Rare 1800's Cobalt Blue Pharmacy Bottle"GEORGE DART--TUXEDO PARK,N.Y." Bottle Auction Description: Please wait for full description... Please make payment within 5 days of auction ending.. Thank you...Shipping will include delivery confirmation...On Jul-08-12 at 08:18:20 PDT, seller added the following information:here is a very hard to find cobalt blue medicine bottle. it stands almost 5 and 1/2 inches tall with arched inset panels all around. the wide front panel is embossed with " GEORGE DART --- PHARMACIST --- TUXEDO PARK, N.Y. " in 3 lines. this beautifully designed bottle has a long crude tooled ring neck top with horizontal whittle down the neck and wavy string lines on the lip. unfortunately they ran into a little trouble with the crude string ribbons on the lip , please look carefully at pictures # 4, 5, 6 and # 7, as they provide different angles to view the in making lip squiggles that crystalized while cooling ,, causing a bit of flaking roughness on the edge. this is a dug bottle in excellent condition , with some faint staining here or there , and a little light scattered surface wear , it's untouched and looks great with no real after-market damage , the in making lip flaw is about the only concern , it's not a disaster but will need to be considered when bidding. this rare little bottle has good character with bubbles to be found , a light steady whittle , and sunken waviness in some of the body . under the thick crude base is embossed with " W.T. CO. --- U.S.A." in 2 lines,, with a ghostly circle imprint and a faint " w 3". a very desirable ,,tuff to find cobalt pharmacy bottle in excellent original condition ,, good luck !!!

Bottle Auction: John Ryan Augusta & Savannah GA Soda Estd. 1852 - Cobalt Blue - Awesome Example!

John Ryan Augusta & Savannah GA Soda Estd. 1852 - Cobalt Blue - Awesome Example! Bottle Auction Description: Up for sale is a John Ryan Augusta & Savannah Excelsior Bottling Works Estd. 1852 soda bottle. This is much harder to find than the Augusta Ryan. It is a beautiful cobalt blue glass, and one of the crudest examples we have seen. The left side of the bottle has a sunken appearance, which was most likely caused by a hand squeezing the bottle while it was still hot. (It is not melted, just crudely made) This bottle was found years ago in an Augusta privy. I recently purchased it back from the widow of a bottle collector here in town. The only imperfection is a flat chip area on the back of the base, as is shown in the final photo. This is not seen at all when the bottle is displayed. Please email me with any questions or for any additional pictures. Good luck bidding!

NICE! DR. KENNEDY'S SALT RHEUM OINTMENT OPEN PONTILED SPARKLER! NR! Bottle Auction Description: Up for auction is a very nice bright and clean example of one of the many products that were produced by the famous Dr. Kennedy. This example is an ointment jar embossed across this 3 1/4" x 2" (base diameter) medium aqua cylinder: DR. KENNEDY'S/SALT RHEUM/OINTMENT. It has a hand tooled rolled (inward) lip treatment and a sea of sized and seed bubbles throughout including a very nice whittle. The base has a rough open pontil with orange peel whittle. There are no chips, dings, etc., only a few very tiny scratches, very minor.
