Bottle Auction: EARLY SOUTH JERSEY BULLS EYE AMBER GLASS WINDOW OPEN PONTIL WISTAR ? WHITNEY ?

EARLY SOUTH JERSEY BULLS EYE AMBER GLASS WINDOW OPEN PONTIL WISTAR ? WHITNEY ? Bottle Auction Description: Up four your consideration is an early 4 bully eyes pane of amber glass, taken from a common salt box house circa 1781 in Salem, NJ. Located 6 miles from the wistar foundry alloway, NJ. If not wistar ,could be early witney glass and still very very old. Provence may be confusing but here it goes...The Salem old house foundation tried to save the building, but it has no structural support and no foundation and a limited budget 75K budget. Deed date was changed to 1900 and recently sold at sheriffs sale to a non historic hud landlord and window wound up at SJ country auction. The paint on the transit window frame (photo #11) even matches the house (photo #12) current mustard yellow paint. The panel measures 16" By 16". There is one crack as shown in photo # 4. sometime during the "turn of the century" the house was remodeled and original glass put into 1850's-1870s frame. The glass is simple what you one would except in early south jersey glass simple amazing, thick, chock full of seed bubbles and blisters in the rarest amber color. sasitifaction gaurenteed...if for any reason your not happy with your purchase just ship it back home to Salem, NJ. My house circa 1866 has a red white and blue gayner glass lantern, underneath the widows nest probably put in 1876 to celebrate the bicentennial and compared to the glass being offered it is not as thick and has far less seed bubbles, this glass is way older and cruder. why I mention this is the frame is around gayner heyday, but the glass is not. Museum quality, perfect for any homestead or early American glass collector. Please feel free to ask for more pictures or ask any questions. Have fun bidding, I do not take bids from bidders with less than 10 feedbacks. I take all form of payments and would even consider lay -away (due with 30 days). Payment due within 5 days unless arrangements have been made. Shipping is 17.95 to anywhere in the lower 48 states, including tracking number and insurance. Please see my other auctions for more primitives and folk art, from the same SJ county auction house. Please bookmark my site if your into early south jersey glass there going to be a killer estate sale from alloway NJ within the next month.

Bottle Auction: EX-GREER Open Pontil YOUATT'S GARGLING OIL COMSTOCK & BRO,

EX-GREER Open Pontil YOUATT'S GARGLING OIL COMSTOCK & BRO, Bottle Auction Description: **EX-GREER****#1815** ****DESCRIPTION:Aqua rectangular open pontil 5" tall embossed "YOUATT'S GARGLING OIL COMSTOCK & BRO, " with tapered collar, listed in Greer as very rare****CONDITION: using the Greer description, it is mint, I don't think you could find a nicer one, sparkling glass, sharp embossing, it looks great These bottles all came out of the late Chris Vincent's collection. I am selling these for his wife Jan, all net proceeds go directly to her. Jan hated to part with these, but it became a necessity. For those of you who knew Chris, you know he was passionate about pontil meds, kept extensive records, and in the last few years was collecting Ex-Greer bottles. He diligently kept track ofthe variants & prices, constantly updating his records at shows & with auction results. I was fortunate enough to get a copy once, at that time he had over 1200 pontils meds in his book. He had hoped to publish it someday, but unfortunately time ran out. Chris was also a digger, we subscribed to the privy diggers newsletter in the early 1990's. If you sent in a pic of yourself in the hole, they would you send you a "PHD", for privy hole digger. He got his and used it in his ebay name "PHDCHRIS", it got a lot of responses from people wondering what his doctorate was. A picture with Chris in the middle, I am on the left, and Tony "POOCH" Panepucci on the right Paypal accepted, please email me for any other payment options. My flat rate for shipping includes insurance. I do combine multiple items won, the shipping charges for multiple purchases will be as close to cost as I can figure them including insuranceI have a simple return policy, I'll take it back, no questions asked, and will refund the original payment totally including original shipping. I only ask you to pay for return shipping. If I terribly miss something, I'll refund return shipping also, I try my best to be fair, all I ask is for you to do the same.If you have any questions, please e-mail me with anitem number or description, and I will respond ASAP!****more ex-Greer & other great pontiled meds to follow in the coming weeks

Bottle Auction: Frothy Orange Amber "Wampoo Bitters / Blum Siegel & Bro. New York" Awesome!

Frothy Orange Amber "Wampoo Bitters / Blum Siegel & Bro. New York" Awesome! Bottle Auction Description: For your consideration is this super condition, orange amber example of "Wampoo Bitters / Blum Siegel & Bro. New York" possibly Stoddard bitters bottle. The glass is "frothed" with tiny bubbles, which glisten in the light. There are numerous larger bubbles, none open, and a couple dark striations, along with other impurities to the glass, which only give it character, and no damage. I would rate this one as close to mint as you could ever hope to find. Simply awesome, just look at the expertly tooled and applied top. This bottle exudes craftsmanship and will look awesome in any collection.. Standing approximately 9 3/4" tall this applied top beauty is a real eye catcher. The glass is of super quality, being free of any issues, chips, cracks, dings, or open bubbles. This example appears to be an attic found bottle, no stain, no scratches, and no sign of being professionally cleaned. If you're a picky collector like me, this is the example you will want in your collection. I've had this one in my collection for a number of years, but now it's time to let someone else enjoy this fantastic bitters bottle. Bid with confidence, you will not be disappointed in this bottle. Please see pictures for full description. This auction is only for the "Wampoo" bottle, I have several other items listed. Listed as scarce in Ring's book, I would say it would be rare to find a better example. is quite scarce in this condition. I'm sure you would be hard pressed to find a better example.Payment by PayPal preferred. Continental US bidders only.
