Bottle Auction: Antique BLACK GLASS Olive Liquor Spirits Bottle SAND PONTIL Early 1800s NEGB Co

Antique BLACK GLASS Olive Liquor Spirits Bottle SAND PONTIL Early 1800s NEGB Co Bottle Auction Description: Craxbax44 Store Antique BLACK GLASS Olive Liquor Spirits Bottle SAND PONTIL Early 1800s NEGB Co DescriptionI am pleased to offer this antique, very dark olive or Black glass liquor bottle. There is a very faint embossing along the bottom edge which I believe reads: the "New England Glass Bottle Company". It was produced c1827- 1845. The bottle stands approx. 8 ¾" tall with a 4" oblong diameter. A well defined sand pontil can be seen as well as, a crude applied lip and linear swirl lines along the neck. Aside from typical appealing characteristics due to its crude production (some bubbles and mis-shapen form), this bottle shows NO cracks, breaks or repairs. I've made no attempt to wash or tumble this bottle. It is being offered as found. Bottle Auction: GI-80 Lafayette /DeWitt Clinton Pint, yellow amber with UNIQUE striation MINT!!!

GI-80 Lafayette /DeWitt Clinton Pint, yellow amber with UNIQUE striation MINT!!! Bottle Auction Description: GI-80 Pint mold embossed LAFAYETTE (bust of Lafayette) T.S.//DeWitt Clinton (bust of Clinton) COVENTRY C-T Sheared and fire polished lip, bold mold impressions, open pontil scar base. A very scarce to rare shade of yellow amber (tough for this mold). But the feature that takes this over the top is the amber striation of glass that starts in the neck on the Lafayette side and goes through the shoulder and top of DeWitt Clinton's side through the corrugated side and back to the bottom of the Lafayette side. This should be considered unique. The flask has a mold indentation at the base line below the S in T.S. If you have studied these molds like I have over the years, you may have seen a few examples with this same indentation in the same place! I know I have seen several other examples in my collecting. This is a personal favorite mold from my collection and it will not disappoint. Please see my other auctions for more good bottles. On Jul-20-15 at 17:03:11 PDT, seller added the following information:I reserve the right to end this auction early if the bidding is not commensurate. Bottle Auction: EXCELLENT FRANKFURT WARNER'S SAFE CURE PINT W/ PARTIAL LABEL - NO RESERVE!

EXCELLENT FRANKFURT WARNER'S SAFE CURE PINT W/ PARTIAL LABEL - NO RESERVE! Bottle Auction Description: Letting go am excellent condition Warners embossed, "WARNER'S SAFE CURE / FRANKFURT A/M"with a partial original label. The cure is a extended base / small letteringvariant pint, standing approximately 9 - 3/8 inches tall. The embossing on this bottle is above average for the "Frankfurt" Warners. I noticed also, the embossed image of the bank safe is notably smaller than the majority of my other Frankfurt, London and PressburgSAFE CURES. Looking through the neck in sunlight (see photo) the glass is clearly desirablelight "honey amber" with "yellowish" tones, lighter in color than the average amber cures. The glass has nice whittle marks in glass, and without the label (should you chose to remove it for some reason) it would most likely jump off he shelf with character. The bottle is in "as found" condition with just some surface dust and will clean up very nicely with minimal effort. No cracks, dings, chips or repairs to this great specimen. I have not attempted to clean the bottle or further preserve the label and am confident you will thoroughly pleased with the bottle. Please see photos and ask questions before bidding. Buy-It-Now and get a great example at an exceptional price!SHIPPING:Flat Rate within the Continental US. For European destinations shipping costs willbe based on actual cost of basic post. Insurancewill be used if available for all destinations.RETURNS: Returns will be accepted after a 7 dayinspection upon receipt. Returns are only for itemswhich are "other than what was described." While we try to research each item to the best of our ability, it is the buyer's responsibility to know what they are buying. Check back everyday to see our latest offerings! We put YQZ in each of our titles. We are Trading Assistants - We call sell items for you! Terms Of Service eBay is all we do for a living, husband and wife (Norb & Marie) working together, while we home school our kids on our farmette in Rural Delmarva. We have worked very hard to build our little business and it is very important to us. We try and do business the old fashioned way and have a rather simple outlook. Treat all of your customers as if they are family. Be courteous, answer e-mails, be fair in all your dealings and try and make friends of each and every customer. However, with eBay's new star rating and the rate increases in the U.S. Postal rates we needed to define and explain our methods of business. ONE - Who We Deal With We sell and ship world wide to anywhere, so please email us for a quote to wherever you happen to be. TWO - Shipping Charges We charge shipping based on the USPS system, we will sometimes ship via courier if we can get it to you within the same time frame or faster. We add a reasonable cost for materials, normally that is $2.00 for regular sized packages. For small flat items $1.00. That covers the expense of boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, and peanuts. For larger items that take a larger more expensive box, we charge a little more, to cover the special box, for example paintings or lamps. For oversized items or items that will take special attention to package, (building a crate, wrapping many small items individually, etc.), we ask you to email us for a quote on shipping prior to the auction ending. If you do not, we charge the same amount as if you did. THREE - International Shipping We charge shipping based on the USPS international system. The rates follow the same guidelines as number two above, though for international customers we add an additional $1.00 to cover the extra paperwork involved in international shipping. If an amount goes over $50 in value we will only ship it with Priority or Express Mail, regardless how small an item. That allows for us to have international tracking. There is no tracking available on First Class Mail. FOUR - Insurance eBay's policies no longer allows us to charge the client for insurance. But... we still apply insurance to any item that goes over $27.00 in value. We reserve the right to use the insurance carrier of our choice. Sometimes that is Postal or the Carrier's Insurance and sometimes that is a private insurance company such as DSI or U-PIC/Shipsurance. If we use a private insurance company the package will not be marked insured, but it will be. FIVE - Methods of Payment Accepted We abide by eBay's rules and try and stay abreast of their changes. We accept Paypal. Paypal also accepts the major credit cards, or we also take Credit Cards Directly over the phone, (MC, VISA, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, CARTE BLANCHE, DINERS CLUB, JCB) Bottom line, whatever method is most convenient for you. SIX - Time Frame To Pay We ask all auctions to be paid for in the fastest possible time frame. (This is all we do for a living and we need the money to pay the bills and buy more unique and fun items to put up on eBay) SEVEN - Shipping Time Frame We make every effort to ship in a timely manner. We are home schooling the boys, listing tons of items, and as like any of us are just plain swamped, so we have to schedule a special time to pack and ship. We ship on a first paid, first shipped basis. (We do not ship any item until it has been paid and the funds have cleared.) With the ebb and flow of payments we manage to get everything out of the door within one week. If there is a rush, we will make every effort to work with you in getting it out of the door faster. As you can see from our feedback, we do not disappoint. OF COURSE, items that need special attention, crating, etc adds to the time frame of those items. EIGHT - Local Pickup Sometimes it makes sense to come by and pickup your items. Sometimes an item is just too big for any other option. If you've arranged local pickup with us, you must pickup the item within 30 days otherwise it will be subject to storage fees or relisting. NINE - Communication Please feel free to contact us at anytime, with any question or comment. Unless we are out of town we make an effort to answer all emails as quickly as possible. Bottle Auction: Notre Dame Ind. cone ink bottle. circa 1865 - 1878 poss only one known to exist

Notre Dame Ind. cone ink bottle. circa 1865 - 1878 poss only one known to exist Bottle Auction Description: this ink bottle was used, likely at notre dame, between 1865 - 1878. makers mark on the base - C&I, is Cunninghams & Ihmsen. they were a glass manufacturer between 1865 - 1878. somehow, it made its way to a privy pit (outhouse) on the west side of south bend. surely there was a connection between that addr. and the university. it was a very small home, tight between a cigar factory, and a confectionary store. small pit, with only a few bottles and a small amt of wood ash. i have been collecting and digging bottles in this area for quite a while, and have never heard of its existance, nor has anyone else in the bottle collecting scene. very well could be the only one, as they would have likely all been discarded at the same time, in the same dump. the condition is good having only an inside burst bubble, and a minor lip roughness. the bottle has been lightly polished, and the burst bubble inside has a tiny bit of tumbling copper in it. very sound and solid bottle. measures about 2 3/4 inches across base, and about 2 1/4 inches tall. the bottle has an early crude applied top. it has a very unique shape. its wide at the base, and has a high heel. embossing is bold on front and bottom, and has light scratches on base and sides from use, and from having been buried for some 145 years. i will post many pictures, and answer any questions. i have listed this before, and it did not make the reserve i set. i have lowered it this time, and am ready to give it a new home. shipping is priority mail insured 8.50, and ships to the united states only. thank you, and good luck-
