Bottle Auction: Picture Hutchinson Soda Bottle Philly (Electric Bolts)

Picture Hutchinson Soda Bottle Philly (Electric Bolts) Bottle Auction Description: NOTICE: Due to changes in policy I am now forced to include a fee for shipping and handling. If an item should sell for more than my estimate, then I will cover the extra cost, you will never pay more than the original estimate. Bottle Auction: Western 1870s "TEA KETTLE / OLD BOURBON / S.F." Nice !

Western 1870s "TEA KETTLE / OLD BOURBON / S.F." Nice ! Bottle Auction Description: Choice 1870s "TEA KETTLE / OLD BOURBON / S.F." Nice! Boy, now here's a killer early whiskey bottle from the Old West that's not often seen, they just don't become avilable that often. The T.K. is one of the most attractive and highly sought after of all the early Western 5ths and define what Western whiskey collecting is all about. Beautiful highly graphic embossing reads: "TEA KETTLE / TRADE MARK / OLD BOURBON / SHEA BOCQUERAZ & MC KEE / AGENTS / SAN FRANCISCO" all across the face of the bottle. In the center there's an embossed tea kettle. This is a real nice example with a solid strike, mild whittle and color shade separation in the body of the bottle. Hand blown into a two part mould in a deep golden amber color, circa 1875. This is a gorgous bottle that shades from darker in the base to light in the center then back to darker in the shoulder as seen in the pics, very, very nice. Excellent clean problem free example with good glass crudity, texture and overall appeal. Non tumbled or polished with no chips, cracks, nicks, scratches, stain, wear or repairs. Looks like it's never been in the ground. Reasonable reserve for this fine bottle. If you've been waiting for a nice Tea Kettle to come along your wait is over !Buyer pays $12.85 for Priority Mail shipping and packaging in the U.S. Buyer assumes all shipping liability for uninsured items. Bottle Auction: The Leader amber half gallon fruit jar

The Leader amber half gallon fruit jar Bottle Auction Description: Offered is a half gallon fruit jar embossed "THE LEADER". I am not a jar collector but I dont think the wire bale matches this jar. Not sure. The jar has a ground lip, some light surface scratches, no chips or cracks noted by me. I took a picture of the worse scratch it is barely seen below the bubble. As you can see it is not that bad a scratch, just mentioned and shown for accuracy. That is on reverse. The inner jar lip has no chips but there is a small whitish area on the inner lip about .6" long, Either in making or small bruise that does not detract from the jar. No missing glass. The top is embossed "PAT D" (smaller D) "JUNE 28 18--" cannot make out next two numbers. The jar's top has one bottom edge chip about .5" long. There is an area of light stain in the interior back of the jar. Please ask all questions no later than August 20 so I can respond timely before auction ends. S/H is $11.70. which includes delivery confirmation. I ship priority, if $$ collected are insufficient to ship that way, I ship parcel post.

Nice DOUBLE COLLAR TOP and there are some very tiny bubbles in the glass. It is 7 and 1/2" TALL. WIDER and THICKER than a lot of rectangular old medicines. LABEL panel is also recessed like the other 3. Nice aqua color. About a 1/4" from the bottom on the AUBURN SIDE PANEL there is what looks like a shallow tear drop shaped partially open bubble (but not much) that has a little haze in it, I think. It's not a normal open bubble and can barely feel a slight edge in one area of it. I want to be ACCURATE so you'll be happy with your purchase. NO CHIPS, NICKS, SCRATCHES, STAIN, ETC. Bottle Auction: RHODES' ANTIDOTE TO MALARIA, FEVER & AGUE CURE, vnm!

RHODES' ANTIDOTE TO MALARIA, FEVER & AGUE CURE, vnm! Bottle Auction Description: We hope you'll like this bright and sparkling example of this very desireable cure bottle. It is 8 1/4" tall, with an applied top and a smooth base with a diagaonal mold seam across. The embossing reads RHODES' - ANTIDOTE / TO / MALARIA - FEVER & AGUE CURE. The glass is bright aqua with nice texture and character. It is very near perfect, with only the tiniest of shallow, 1/8" lip flakes that I missed on first looking because the lip is crude and full of ripples and the flake is basically too small to show.

Bottle Auction: Nice GOLDEN YELLOW Amber GLOBE Quart Fruit Jar

Nice GOLDEN YELLOW Amber GLOBE Quart Fruit Jar Bottle Auction Description: *** Hello! Here is a great colored Globe! A very light Golden Yellow Amber quart for your consideration. It has a nice ground lip with one flat flake off it. The bail is good & solid. It has a light orange amber lid that goes well with it. I took some photos outside without direct sunlight, and some inside to help try to show the color good. Of course inside on a wall shelf, it won't be as bright. Backlit it will be a glowing sparkler, but it's however you display your jars. =) I shown it next to a dark amber Globe that is not in this auction but shown for color comparison only. It's base embossed with a ghosted 15. There is a small flat flake off the side of the neck as seen also, probably where it made contact with the bail I assume. Not a huge deal and non-distracting but it is there. The lid has a couple tiny edge flakes. I may overdescribe, but I try to be very accurate. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks for viewing and all the best! ***

Bottle Auction: Chapin & Gore Chicago Illinois whiskey pre prohibition

Chapin & Gore Chicago Illinois whiskey pre prohibition Bottle Auction Description: Up for your bidding pleasure is this nice strap sided, half pint pre prohibition whiskey flask from Chicago Illinois. It has no damage. what is unusual about this is that in the slug plate it reads Sour Mash 1867 but the base and the internal screw top reads patented 1872, I guess they patented it 5 years after production! The screw top does have a small bruise under the letter U and is visible in the pictures.I did not try cleaning the bottle although it will clean up well. Thanks, AnthonyOn Jul-31-10 at 06:54:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Okay... someone asked me what I meant when I said "I did not try cleaning the bottle although it will clean up well". What I meant is that there was dirt on the inside and outside of the bottle which I didn't clean off! So I gave it a scrub and took 2 more pictures. The bottle does have some haze on the back and a bit on the inside too but the glass is pretty crude which makes it difficult to see (plenty of bubbles and light orange peel effect). There are no cracks or chips but the glass does have a couple of very small scuffs, typical ground wear I'd suppose. The bottle as about a 9 out of 10 in my opinion. I'd date this bottle to 1880's. Oh! and one more thing it has an applied lip too.Hope this helps.

BURNETT'S COCAINE BOSTON antique bottle aqua near mint! Bottle Auction Description: This is a circa 1860 cocaine bottle. Embossed "BURNETT / BURNETT'S COCAINE / BOSTON". Stunning light aqua in color with bold embossing. Blown in mold with an applied taper lip. The bottle is 7" high, and 2.5" x 1.5". Needs some minor cleaning (I'm a digger, not a washer!); it has just been rinsed out a little.
