Bottle Auction: ABSOLUTELY ATTIC MINT LABELED AND EMBOSSED B.O WILSON BOTANIC DRUGGIST!

ABSOLUTELY ATTIC MINT LABELED AND EMBOSSED B.O WILSON BOTANIC DRUGGIST! Bottle Auction Description: Up for auction is a truly attic mint example of the famous botanic druggist: B.O. & G.C. WILSON/BOTANIC DRUGGISTS/BOSTON very heavily embossed on one side with as close to perfect ornate label on the reverse side of this deep aqua, beefy almost 8" cathedral rectangle. The lip treatment is a crude narrow collar type with a bit of the original cork still in the neck. There are great stretch lines down the neck and shoulder region and prominent eliptical bubbles as well. The label is simply great and this one contained Holland Gin. The base sports a post bottom hinge mold and the entire bottle sparkles like it was just emptied. This is a 'best possible example' and looks to have missed the pontil rod by a day or so. I have sold pontiled ones that look the same. A great labeled and embossed classic in unreal condition being offered at an extremely low starting bid and NO RESERVE! The new owner will be so pleased to add this one to their shelf, I am very sure. As always, thanks for looking at my auctions. More to come, some more demis possibly and please check my Feedback.

Bottle Auction: Killer 1850s - "LYONS POWDER / NEW YORK" - Pink Amethyest!

Killer 1850s - "LYONS POWDER / NEW YORK" - Pink Amethyest! Bottle Auction Description: Killer 1850s - "LYONS POWDER / NEW YORK" - Pink Amethyest! Here's a rare bug posion that's been a personal favorite in our collection for many years and what a knockout example. Strong embossing reads: "LYONS POWDER / B&P N.Y." on the shoulder. Hand blown into a two part mold in a dazzling pink/amethyst colored glass, circa 1850s. It has an inward rolled lip and a hinge mold base with an open tube pontil. This is one of the finest examples of a Lyons bottle we've seen. It's hammer whittled from top to bottom and shades from light in the upper portion to darker towards the base. A lighter shade than what's normally seen, passes light with ease and is very transparent. The color on this beauty tends to be more of a pinkish purple with NO amber or red like what's often seen on these bottles. Found under the floor of an 1850s building in the California Gold Country over 20 years ago and you couldn't ask for a better condition bottle, it looks like an attic find. Non tumbled/polished and has NO chips, cracks, nicks, scratches, stain wear or repairs. A tough bottle to find in this color and with such a strong strike as most tend to be a little weak. Exceptional quality, character & color best describe this wonderful piece. The winning bidder is going to love this one. NO RESERVE ! Buyer pays $8.65 Postal Service Priority Mail shipping, Packaging, Tracking in the U.S. Insurance optional, buyer assumes all shipping liability for uninsured items. Payment to be made within 7 days of the auction closeing please. However if you need longer, extended payment time may be arranged prior to the auction ending. Payments other than PayPal gladly accepted if you choose. Bottle Auction: NICE LARGE corker COBALT BLUE POISON bottle QUILTED w/ POISON STOPPER 7 7/8"

NICE LARGE corker COBALT BLUE POISON bottle QUILTED w/ POISON STOPPER 7 7/8" Bottle Auction Description: Please see my seller's list for more great items, thank you! DESCRIPTION - You are bidding on an old and authentic Cobalt Blue glass early machine made cork top Quilted style round POISON bottle, with "POISON" embossed stopper. This neat old bottle stands 7 7/8" high including the stopper, 7" without the stopper. Stopper is in excellent shape. Many old poison bottles had the ridges and bumps and "tactile" embossing to let the person know picking up the bottle, perhaps at night with no kerosene lamp, that they were handling a POISON bottle! The bottle is embossed "H. B. CO." on the underside of the base. My photos give the color a slight purple look, it does not have that shading and is a solid rich cobalt blue color. CONDITION - This old bottle is in very good shape, no chips, cracks or dings and clean glass, a great example! POSTAGE - Please add $8.95 for postage to anywhere in the USA. More if shipped outside the United States. I DO COMBINE ON SHIPPING and will ship several lots in one box to keep postage costs down. The Best " TWEDDLE / CELEBRATED WATER / N.Y." Iron Pontil Beauty! Bottle Auction Description: The Best " TWEDDLE / CELEBRATED WATER / N.Y." Iron Pontil Beauty! Now here's something special in the pontil soda department. This is one fine condition early bottle and what a looker it is. From an old collection comes this stunning example embossed: "TWEDDLE / CELEBRATED / SODA OR MINERAL / WATER'S" reverse: "COURTLAND STREET / 38 / NEW YORK". Hand blown into a two part mold in a yellow green colored glass, circa 1850s. Has an applied blob top and a deep concave base with a big iron pontil, all iron intact. Very nice hammer whittled glass with superb character that sets this one apart from most others. The condition of this is about as nice as them come with practically no wear which is not normal for an early soda. For complete accuracy I do note a tiny in the making annealing check on the pontil. Bottle Auction: GII-31 LOUISVILLE GLASSWORKS HISTORICAL FLASK O.P.

GII-31 LOUISVILLE GLASSWORKS HISTORICAL FLASK O.P. Bottle Auction Description: This is a very nice pint size historical flask from Louisville Kentucky Glasshouse. I believe it is GII-31 in McKearins. It has eagles in medallians on both sides and vertical ribs. The base has open pontil and the lip is sheared. The color is a ight green that looks to me like it has some yellow or citrine in it but beware that color is subjective as we see colors differently from each other. I have it pictured with a normal aqua flask for color comparrison only. Aqua flask is not for sale in this auction. It is listed in a seperate auction. The pontil does have some glass along the ege of pontil that looks like a small chip but it no doubt occured in the making. Also the pontil has some kind of residue left in it that might be graphite or iron. Not sure. I think this may be a pretty rare bottle. I don't see any chips or cracks or really any wear other than maybe some honest base wear. I will ship this for a fixed price of $9.50 within the lower 48 states. Bottle Auction: Stunning & Rare "Wm. KEARNEY / SHAMOKIN / PA." Giant Colored Hutch!

Stunning & Rare "Wm. KEARNEY / SHAMOKIN / PA." Giant Colored Hutch! Bottle Auction Description: Stunning & Rare "Wm. KEARNEY / SHAMOKIN / PA." Giant Colored Hutch! Now here's a rare size & color and just a great looking old soda with some really nice crude character. Strong embossing reads: "WM. A KEARNEY / SHAMOKIN / PA" all in slug plate. Reverse reads: "THIS BOTTLE / NEVER SOLD" in huge bold letters. This quart size hutch measures a whopping 9" tall x 3-1/2" wide, un-like almost all other Hutchinson sodas. Hand blown into a two part mould in a beautiful cherry/amber colored glass, with nice reddish tones, circa late 1880s. Color is important here and this is not your normal amber colored bottle. Heavy whittle marks throughout the entire body and it has a crude wavy/whittled outer surface texture. Original as found non-polished condition with no wear. A tiny in the making open bubble on the reverse half the size of a paper match head has been professionally repaired/stabilized. NO chips, cracks, nicks, pings, scratches, stain or wear. The condition on this is as good as they come and it's definitely not a dug bottle or one that was reused. It's so crude and colorful it reminds of a bottle from a much earlier period. I can't say enough about this one as far a quality goes, it's a top example. The winning bidder I believe will really be pleased with this beauty. NO RESERVE ! Buyer pays $10.85 Postal Service Priority Mail shipping, Packaging, Tracking in the U.S. Insurance optional, buyer assumes all shipping liability for uninsured items.
